2010 Railroad Modelers Symposium
The 2010 Railroad Modelers Symposium will be held Friday and Saturday April 16th and 17th 2010. The Symposium will be held at the South Bend Firefighters Association, 4025 Lincoln Way West, South Bend IN 46628.
This year we will be asking for preregistration. Anyone who preregisters before April 1st the cost will be $30. After April 1st or at the door the cost is $35. This covers both days or one only. We feel this is a great value for what you will see. The form will be available online by December 1st.

We are requiring pre-registration this year.

How To Seminars
The focus of this 2-day symposium will be "Modeling a Railroad", not just rolling stock and locomotives! Both evenings feature three 90-minute presentations on popular prototype-based layouts. Both days are jam-packed with how-to seminars. Please review the listing of presentations and seminars below and you will see a wide variety of fantastic topics.

Weathering Locomotives and rolling stock
Mark Belmonte, Ryan Folk, and Tony Sissons will once again be working all day weathering rolling stock and locomotives... Bring in your cars and locomotives and learn how to weather with the pro's... At last years event, close to 100 pieces of rolling stock were weathered and many attendees learn new and interesting ways to weather... This is a don't miss....
Installing DCC Decoders
Chris Thompson will be showing us how to install and program both regular as well as sound decoders.. Bring in your locomotives and decoders for Chris to help you with... Unfortunately, there will not be machine tools available, so all decoders may not be able to be installed...
Weathering with Acrylics
Jim Six will be working with you on how he gets his fantastic weathering completed using Acrylic paints...
Modeling roads into backdrops
Doctor Tom Johnson and Jim Six will be spending time on how they build their incredible roads and how they blend them into the backdrop... This is a must see...
